About Get Married in Florida
Originally from the UK, Lorraine has a first-hand understanding of what couples from the UK expect when planning a wedding abroad. Lorraine worked in the Travel Industry before moving into weddings with First Choice Holidays in 2001.
Lorraine started Get Married in Florida in 2002 to assist UK Brides and Grooms with arranging an overseas wedding here in Orlando, Florida. She identified a gap in the market for couples to work directly with Orlando based companies in organising their wedding.

Get Married in Florida is based in Orlando, Florida. Now with an office conviently located just off International Drive in Orlando, Florida we can provide an all round service to their couples.
Through our personal service we work with you to book your Orlando wedding. We promise to give you peace of mind and a personal one-to-one service.

Our service to you
We provide a service, which we feel takes the stress out of trying to organize a wedding from so far away:
We will guide you through your location selection and will assist you in booking the minister/Notary for your wedding, ordering your wedding day flowers, hiring experienced professionals - like photographers, videographers, hair stylists, musicians, transportation for you and your guests. ordering your wedding cake and the champagne to toast your future.
We'll even arrange the wedding licence before you arrive in Florida.
We can also pre-arrange after wedding dinners/receptions. See reception page.
Through emails and phone calls we make sure that the day reflects you and your wedding vision.
All your wedding arrangements will be confirmed to you by email or by phone.
Your Wedding team
Once you arrive in Orlando, you will be invited to come to our offices to discuss your wedding day and add any final elements to your Orlando wedding. We have a full team of wedding coordinators in Orlando to assist you with your wedding planning:
Our coordinators will be there on the day to ensure "It's a day to remember." Let us worry about the arrangements. All you have to do is show up!
Once the photographs are ready, you will be invited to collect them from our offices near International Drive.
The Wedding Day
Relax is not usually a word that couples associate with their wedding Day, but that is exactly what we ask you to do. Leave the, who, what, where and whys to us and enjoy this one in a lifetime day!
Once at the venue, all you need to worry about is you and your guests being ready to enjoy the day. With the help and assistance of your Wedding Team before and on the day as well as your vendores you day will be organized perfectly.
Your Wedding coordinator along with the officiant, photographer and videographer will meet the groom and all guests in the lobby/main entrance of your wedding location 30 minutes prior to the wedding time.
At this time all necessary paperwork will be distributed and flowers presented. The Bride and her party are requested to arrive 15 minutes before the wedding.
The ceremony is approximatley 10 - 15 minutes in length followed by photography/videography and a brief cake and champagne toast (if booked). The event will last approx 1 hour from beginning to end.
Deposit
The deposit required to make a wedding booking is 35% of the package price with the balance due 30 days before the wedding.
